Sharon Pentecostal Mission was started in the year of 1993 in a thatched upper room in No.1 Kemps Town in the house of our church member, brother K. Adaikalaraj in the city of Trichy, with nearly eighty members along with the children. C.Ebenezer, Pastor of the church and his wife Priscilla Glory and two daughters Dunamis Evangeline and Endoxon Ekklesia whom God used to begin this small ministry.
Pastor. C. Ebenezer had earned his B.D degree from Serampore University and later earned his M. Th and Ph.D from ATA through ACTS Academy of Higher Education, Bangaluru. In the beginning it was a small congregation and later by the grace of God and through the evangelistic work done by the members and ministers of the church, the church has now grown to more than a thousand members. The Lord Jesus Christ has helped the ministry to expand the gospel work in various places and helped start churches in several parts of the country. And at present there are churches in Delhi, Tata Nagar, Ranchi, Gatsila, in North India and in Tamil Nadu there are churches in Burma colony, Udumalpet, Mallur, Pennadam, Tittakudi, Padur, Chennai, Pudukottai and Valavanthan Kottai.
In the mean time Pastor. A. Daniel Kumar joined our ministry in the year of 1997 and was ordained as a pastor in 2004 and he is now pastoring the church along with the Senior Pastor. C. Ebenezer. Pastor. A. Daniel Kumar is a graduate from Nehemiah Bible Institute. And presently he is assisting the church ministry along with his family.
